I'd say, if you are motivated, eager and smart, you should be welcome regardless of your social background, ethnicity, or level of education.

And I think this holds for modest priced neighborhoods (lots of multigenerational ethnic families) as well as higher end neighborhoods (where will they put the au pair?)
