Unless you know what the HOA is required to pay for and it's costs, it does come across as expensive.I am a Association Manager in Los Angeles and it really varies from HOA to HOA as to how strict they are in regards to enforcement, procedures and costs.

Like when you attend a seminar or purchase a course and you have sample transactions filled out in the forms included in the course.Whats the procedure for providing blank documents - do not want to cross the line or be accused of acting as an attorney.My gameplan is to provide a sample transaction from start to finish with every document I would use filled out with sample data.

They have a procedure to make them come in front of them and prove they have just cause and a legal claim to charge you and must produce a contract that states they will do a specified service for a specified price and any change order must be accompanied with a change order signed by you.
