We appointed our daughters as trustees, and power of attorney  granted to the older one.

Lastly, are there any landlords here willing to discuss tenancy for someone (mom, dad, daughter) like this who has some availability now or in the near future?  

I have a mother-daughter roommate situation in one of my units.

The property is near my daughter's college.

She would live together her fiancé and newborn daughter.

We are interested in investing in a second home that my daughter and her friends will rent back from us for a few years, and that we will eventually either sell or continue to hold as a rental property.

I love the freedom of working from anywhere, spending half my day every day with my daughter and working the other half plus some flexible evening hours. 

If you had a 21 year old daughter, would you want her to live there? 

I have facilitated clients using it here in my market (Phx/Scottsdale), and also learned first hand through my daughter's first home purchase how it works. 

I've never had this, but I did have a very conservative family who were sending their daughter to live in my househack from the middle of the state, and they wanted to be damned sure we were completely on the up and up (they're landlords, too).I've heard stories similar to @Gail K.'
