My immediate path is to wholesale deals, and then progress into rehabbing and buy and hold. 

Jailen Holt yes, I'm starting out with wholesaling and as time progresses I will venture out into other strategies.

Now its time to really get started.My overall goals are to build sustainable wealth with real estate while providing a service to the general population in the form of property recycling (bring properties back to usable form for the public) and buy and hold rentals (providing solid housing for people and families).As far as progress, my wife and I are currently in our first house hack - living in, refurb, plan to rent.

I'm pretty certain on a path forward now, but I will reply to this thread when something happens/how things progress.

It sounds like your plans are progressing in a good way.

Besides reading as many books as I can and  going to as many meetups as I can what steps should I take to keep progressing?

Just a heads up we are meeting this Thursday, 630 at Brooklyns in downtown Buda to talk about Buda, Kyle, San Marcos and maybe even some ideas about development progress/timelines between Buda and Dripping Springs.
