Maybe but not so far.Same thing with smoke detectors, no inspection by the city.

Some things to avoid parties are the usual door locks that record every entry, ring doorbells w\motion etc.

Do you know what the code requires for smoke detectors, CO2, egress windows, deadbolts, etc?

To dissuade a few, I have update my smoke detector clause as follows:Landlord may install meth detectors.Obviously won't happen, but costs nothing to insert.

In any home we own that is not tenant occupied, we put in an alarm, motion sensors and cameras so we can see what's going on inside the property at all times.

I put motion flood lights on all my properties.

Any routine maintenance and inspection is best done by the landlord, whether it is furnace filters, smoke detector batteries, checking for leaks under the sinks or anything else.

Meaning, once you set them in motion, changes in the economy, changes in your personal financial situation, changes in laws relating to the management of your (former) assets, etc, may hurt the value of your trust, but you can't really do anything about it.
