Investment Info:Large multi-family (5+ units) buy & hold investment in Plymouth.

I don't have a lot of experience selling properties but I have thankfully got my hands on two rentals, with 4 and 6 units. 

One thing I continue to think about is how valuable 2-4 unit properties are becoming, and will continue to be, since Fannie/Freddie took the income restrictions from the 5% down conventional loan option for house hackers. 

Another option is house hacking—buying a small multi-unit, living in one, and renting the rest to cut costs.

I could see a requirement, perhaps under the Patriot Act, that requires all landlords to get a SSN/TIN from everyone living in a unit and report that (or lack of) to the federal government.

Seems to be decent on Airbnb with the guest house/ADU units with all the hospitals nearby.

You are particularly interested in short-term and long-term rentals, promising ROI, and locations with a mix of affordability and growth opportunities.Being willing to move and live in a part of a 1-4 unit property will help you get better financing, for sure, and require less down.
