I have found many houses that from Zillow shots look great only to find the house has burned down or has a hole the size of a compact car in the back of the house which is not noticeable from the street view.

You would likely be better off selling the property and doing a 1031 tax-deferred exchange, rather than trying to move back into the property and trying to exclude a proportion of the gains under the personal residence exclusion.

Most likely, if is a newer house, is build under compacted granular soil with some sort of concrete foundation (slab or combo with piers/grade beams).

The way to make it slightly better is to remove the 30 inch standard range that's there and put in a 20-inch compact range, pushing it out away from the cabinet until it's even with the outside wall.
