The question to the forum is can I get out of this now so I can do other things like tell him this is not working out and he agrees to release me, or can he release me from the contract?

If you are renting this out, has he or can he prove that it rents for that much in that area?

He is now relocating out of state.Question:   Can he rent it out without issue (being that it is a VA Loan)?  

It really is kind of a done deal, all that's left is can he use his driveway or have to build another one.

Well unfortunatly she is in the middle of a messy divorce, and can not afford the property on her own, and neither can he.

This raises another question... if a person is really that nervous when meeting new folks, can he or she ever really invest in real estate successfully?

If so, can he explain to you why specifically he believes this is the case?

If the tenant couldn't afford the mortgage, then how can he afford the higher rent?

If one person absolutely needs to sell and the others want to stay, can he sell his share?  

The goal is to apply for a mortgage at the same bank he applied for his mortgage and take over his mortgage.First, I don’t even know if that’s possible.Also if I purchase the duplex, how can he get his equity in the home if my down payment isn’t enough for his equity.My goal is to do this to save me some interest since I believe he’s paid off a good chunk of it.Is it a good idea to take over his mortgage or just start over.Are there any special fees I have to pay for this process?
