I would pick a major tourist destination where it wasn't saturated with STR's already.That would take some research but you could google top vacation destinations and find a place you would go on vacation.

This was hilarious and reminds me of a NYC apartment, not a multi in Ohio - (they put the shower in the living room, and you can't open the oven all the way in the kitchen, absolutely ridiculous).I will look on a map to see where Troy is and see if there are any meetups near you.Thank you, tried to do as much research and legwork as I could before the deal as possible.

Make sure you research rental licensing requirement per municipality as they very greatly and make some cities a real pain to deal with.
