I'd prefer not to give an entry code to lots of different delivery drivers if possible.In this position I'd wait until packages actually started getting stolen before doing anything, or maybe I'd get a Ring doorbell or camera. 

I will gladly take on the extra work of owning RE, given that, even with more difficult conditions, RE still has a very high probability of delivering me outsized returns over my investing career. 

Regarding tenant application, do you ask each tenant to fill out the complete California rental application form which requests all previous employment and residence details or only ask for the tenant's SSN and driver's license?
