You can disagree with the belief all you want but it's a mathematical fact. 

They seem to be quite informed on the topic of distressed real estate... is this your belief as well?

I understand I have some imputed but why do that... for me because I had ZERO default... and zero interest paid in one year as opposed to 5.5 % for many years is better when you compute PVM  ( present value of Money)  I first started doing these back in the 80's when my first Saudi client said he could not pay interest for religious reasons..

Everyone has their own beliefs and thus this is a very subjective question.  

The belief that there could be no consequences because your name isn't on the note is a pretty uneducated belief to have, even without seeing the above letters.

Investing is a personal endeavor and one persons' goals, interest, strategy and belief on what is a good investment does not always line up with those of other people.
