While there are certainly some unscrupulous characters in real estate (just like in any profession), It's probably far less common than you think, and you can't just assume the listing agent is being dishonest.

@Michael Nyszczot This is why it's unusual for newbies to last more than about two weeks doing this.If persistence is not in your vocaulary (or character) then find another niche or at least another way to your prospects.
