The daughter doesn't know what its worth and would likely be upside down if they sold - she believes they owe 280k on the property.

Two or our good good friends live there and do most of the maintenance and day to day management for her since she has gotten older and has moved off site to live with her daughter.

I have not raised rent in 3.5 years so is she doing this so i won't raise the rent. ( retired couple who has the bills paid by their daughter)Thank you for any input 

My daughter attends University of Indianapolis and rather than paying her rent to live in someone else's apartment, we purchased the home to save the rent and also to have a roommate live with her and cover the mortgage and insurance.

My intent initially wasn't really to make money just to keep the mortgage up while myself and family stayed in an area that my daughter could go to a school we wanted her in.

My daughter lived across the street and we knew this was a great little neighborhood for buying relatively inexpensive bread and butter homes.

I have a question for those that might know the answer or have input.My daughter just sold her house that she's owned for about 5 years. 

We don't like that one bit for the fact that the rent is too low and locked in for too long.He also has his daughter in one of the other units.
