I see two basic problems:First, as others have touched on, financial education is not something that is taught in schools, and therefore most kids probably never learn even the basics about money (since their parents probably don't know anything either).Second, most people tend to view money with a "scarcity" mentality -- that money is hard to come by and must be savored and treasured.

I filed for a Treasurer's Deed dound in El Paso County (CO).

In one of our last transactions, the property couldn't be conveyed due to the parcel being split between FNMA and the Treasurer's Department (due to back taxes), therefore title couldn't convey a clear title.

The County treasurer is about 4 weeks behind with accepting transfer tax payments.
