I know inventory has been pretty tough there.I have 12-doors in Detroit and am picking up a duplex next month to make it 14.

Yeah, so active inventory went up from the all time EPIC zero/no inventory level....

The market is hunting for more inventory, despite 7% rates.

I Live in jersey and the Prices seem to not be going down here and there is little to no inventory So I started to look at Pennsylvania.

Bottom line: Baltimore City is not nearly as friendly to an ADU as you would expect for a densely populated urban jurisdiction where many of its political leaders call for increased density, inventory, the end of single family zoning, etc.

I agree, there is more inventory and it seems demand is dropping off. 

We currently have a major shortage of inventory in this area, so it's not really a matter of "where the best place to buy", but more a matter of "can you find a house you like and actually purchase it?".   

However, the rapid influx of new residents, coupled with insufficient housing inventory, has driven prices skyward, making homeownership increasingly unattainable for many.

I'm in Flagstaff, and just like here, Prescott has an inventory shortage.
