There were containers of crap and piss everywhere, and the house was completely disgusting.

What a load of crap that was. 

Although with the amount of crap I had to go through with the historic district department it felt like I was being fined.  

Stop watching that flip crap on TV and get out into the street and find your own contractors and prices.Sorry to be short and cranky, but I am old so it is OK.  

Neither of these people will tell you that buying 2 or 3 cheap pieces of crap in the midwest are a good investment.  

I see the  money in the E-Fund, then I use it because I want the feeling of no debt, then I realize, crap, no E-Fund!  

She has since passed away, but her final months were better than they otherwise would have been, and her son's financial health certainly a crap ton better than it would have been (I caught him right before he was going to start missing payments, disqualifying him from any mortgage because his FICO was already shaky as it was).

The bad news is that no one is going to make that same killing again any time soon, and some folks are just going to be sitting on the fence growing old waiting for it.I'm also going to point out that nearly everyone who purchased at the "worst" time to purchase, in 2007, in the Bay Area, is 9 years later sitting on a crap ton of real estate equity/wealth.

The dog used the house as it's own personal toilet and crapped and urinated everywhere.

Personally I want lead-free on my rentals so I buy properties that are crap and need a lot of work but I know that going in.
