A lot of the refuse is cardboard, bottles, cans and plastics. 

Upstairs tenant also reports lots of bags of empty bottles coming out of new tenants unit.   

just pour a bottle or 2 all over the house let it soak in ...open windows to get out vinegar smell-in a few days its like new.

@Dan Barman  I would use hydrogen peroxide full strength retail grade in a spray bottle and wet the floor with it.  

I tried the enzyme and nature's miracle stuff, bottles of it and no difference.I ended up removing the carpet, painting the subfloor with 2 coats of oil-based kilz, and replacing the carpet and pad.

Because you know those moms can down a bottle of wine when they dont have kids to watch or drive around lol! 

I have ended up making a cleaning/set up checklists for the properties (after saying for months that I needed to do it) since there are little things that they forget to do like cleaning out the soap dish, putting bottles of water in the fridge, or putting the cake of soap in the shower, etc.

Something we haven't mentioned yet: I think the genie is out of the bottle now on rental property restrictions.

Can you bottle it up and sell it?

I would also include maybe a bottle of wine or favorite liquor/beer they are into.I originally thought of a rent deduction, but that is not tangible and in my eyes a $100 rent reduction will not do as much as a $50 gift card to a restaurant.
