Good luck. haha i would run away from anyone self-proclaiming as "financial expert" with the expectation to "meet the guru / mentor/coach / master of all business" in his/her personal residence lol I have not google him yet but I bet he is taking picture in front of luxury house and driving sports car ?

We self manage and have actually been transitioning to taking them off the padsplit platform and managing them ourselves.

We see this expressing itself not just as Bric's works to do things but as more and more accept bric's, work with them, toy with them, consider a replacement world currency, effect trade in other items than USD....... 

I  own a stabilized, class C portfolio of 200 or so single family rentals here that I self manage.

We do Self storage and deal with wasp and yellow jacket nests throughout the summer.  

That is a fair point, but wouldn't you tell your old self to ask "less dumb" questions because now you know you were more likely to get better answers?
