I know I personally had no desire to escape to another urban environment (other than a moment of wishing I could experience Venice when there were no other tourists <grin>).If we are able to bring the pandemic under control by summer 2021, I suspect there will be a lot of pent up energy to visit all the vibrant destination cities around the world that were closed down and not at all vibrant in 2020.And, yes, we were able to purchase the 200 Airbnb IPO Directed Shares.

Who knows.Of course everywhere is seasonal to some extent, but somewhere like Tahoe is max seasonality and there's just nothing in markets like the Smokies or Destin that compares to the seasonal differences of winter vs. spring in Tahoe.Then there is the Covid factor.

And I'd expect the vast majority of these to be at least put under contract without seeing it in person.I'd expect buying furnished to be very common in all touristy destination including ski and beach towns, but I don't have familiarity with those.
