Can anyone point to an instance of where a Fair Housing violation was handed down by a state or federal regulatory body in response to a letter from a potential buyer to seller?

Owner has property for rent and is willing to sell property on lease option  which is great but the owner want a application filled out with $50 fee. right the deal is stalled because I am not giving him a $50 application fee My question is has any body run into this before how do you over come this objection?

We'd be looking for a smaller cottage, preferably not too far from a large body of water, ideally sub $200k.  

Their incentives are vastly different than yours -- they want  a warm body, you want a great tenant.

Shampoo, condition, body wash, hand soap, coffee, creamer, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry and dish detergent, copious amounts of sheets, pillow cases, blankets, etc.Nearly every Airbnb host I have talked to has lost money on cleaning fees, so there is another expense.  

Starting my day by pushing my mind and body to their limits sets a tone for the day and makes me feel like the hardest part of the day is over.
