Less than 35 non accredited investors, no general solicitation or advertising, etc.The other 15 states are a hodgepodge of various laws or lack thereof.One thing almost no one understands that if you are sued by an investor because the investor lost money ( not talking about property foreclosure or liability for deficiency, but about being sued because you did not properly explain risks to investors etc), and you comply with SEC Reg D, you have an affirmative statutory defense against those allegations.

I truly believe these trump allegations and investigation (weather true or not) are going to cause investors to loose confidence in the economy and Trumps ability to execute his tax reform plans.

Cameron,Are you creating the notes yourself or do you broker notes created by other sellers?

They had allegedly sold a home in Texas but their mortgage payment was not on the credit report because it was financed through a private company that was also the builder.Six months later, they start showing their true colors and my life was a mess for six months., During that time, I learned they did have a home in Texas but had stopped paying the mortgage.

I don't have all the facts, but on the surface the response I have is not against 'wholesalers' but against an allegedly callous city inspection department.
