Either way, if it is a good deal you owe it to yourself to pursue it. 

These are all private so someone had to include them, and then that person can pursue you for failure to comply.

I'm in the Houston area so there was not and still isn't any shortage of vacant properties to pursue.    

You can also go on to Zillow and indicate foreclosed homes and you can pursue them.

As long as their is demand and other favorable factors in that city, if it's worth pursuing if numbers make sense.
