In your lease/rental agreement this should be covered, including the tenant's role in not obstructing your ability to get the job done.I negotiate a date and time that works best for the tenant, but if there is an immediate need or I am working with outside contractors who are on a specific time limit, I will give the tenant a legal notice to enter and choose the date and time.It is not unreasonable to schedule work between 8am - 6pm.
