Hello all,My husband and I have found a short sale in Virginia and we are about to put an offer using a VA loan.The problem with this property is that the master bathroom as no Floor and no toilet (the all bathroom need to be redone).

Not sure how that pans out with a long distance rental.  

Things like get HVAC units serviced, check all the plumbing for running toilets or dripping sinks, add CFL bulbs to common areas, etc.What might be safe is to invest $200k, then save $40k.

One of my 2018 goals was to meet at least 2 other investors a week and I have so far failed in that.I'll share about how 1 leaky toilet cost me nearly $4,000 and other multifamily craziness .Anyone interested in getting together for appetizers on March 26th in Eden Prairie?

We also have tubs, toilets, kitchens etc all coming down the pipeline.  

It looks like you have enough room unless there is a toilet blocking it. 

Whether or not that lead pans out as a buyer who can get pre-approved is a different story but we are in this for the long run. 

How did that pan out? 

You can do a ton of research online to see how the numbers pan out.

I get several leads on houses and many of those leads do not actually pan out into an offer to purchase.
