I am a licensed builder in the charleston area that is from Myrtle beach.  

We have an STR beach home in South Padre Island. 

@Brian Kloft I can relate to those calls from new voucher holders that want to get out of the city. we get them all the time as we are also by the beach. 

Our response stressed that we take great care of the pool with weekly maintenance, that they enjoyed having the temperature in the high 90s, and we are glad they liked all of our pool and beach supplies, etc.  

I am a beach bum so El Cajon will definitely be a change for me but I am willing to make the sacrifice.

It is also the cheapest beach property in the US for hundreds of miles.  

I am in Florida as well up in Pinellas by the Gulf Beaches and know that Miami is costly!

I have a property that has an giant 80' tall silver maple in the backyard right near the deck and porch of the house, the tree overhangs the deck and part of the porch and provide a lot of shade for the backyard.

I will be doing deals either in Central Florida / Orlando Area, or Southeast Florida / Juno Beach, Fort Lauderdale areas, as I have family looking in both areas.

I heard of a beach condo where they had to replace all the railings on the building being out of code.
