You need to do an inspection to itemize his security deposit, and the less crap there the easier to see the true condition.

I'm 5 years late to this post but I'm hoping I get lucky and somebody responds.As someone who is also interested in investing in real estate, I absolutely see the logic behind living with your parents to save money for your first property.

We can see the outside with a drive by of course, but we are more concerned with the interior and what we may be getting into.
