Need to be creative and think other ways to make this business work. 

The investor is now dragging their feet and it's got me feeling like I need to come up with a contingency plan.Any ideas/leads on creative financing for the downpayment/funding the whole deal?

It would be considered mortgage fraud to not list the seller financing debt on any type of application.The only “creative” way possibly is if you have a spouse then you separate the debt so maybe one of you has debt on a property (that you co-own) and the other does notFor example my home I own with my wife but I am not on the mortgage only she is.

I have ALSO heard its not about timing the market rather time IN the market, so this is where a SFH could potentially be "easier" to find.Im constantly in a headspace where I tell myself I have to get really creative to finance a MFH or come in with a 5% conventional loan and fixing a MFH to force appreciation although cash flow may not be there the first year or two.

(Although I don’t plan to invest with no money down, I wanted to get ideas for creative financing since I don’t have much saved yet.)

It is a creative lifestyle investment that I think the listeners would like to hear about.

The building has been passed over by many people due to the layout, but I have a creative and viable solution (boutique hostel/hotel hybrid in well-established and overpriced tourist destination).
