The area seems to be a stable economy that is supported by the Air Force Base that is near by as well as some industrial type companies.

We would like to refurbish this basement to the level of being able to air bnb this space of our house while we live upstairs.  

A roofer, foundation guy and HVAC (both furnace and converting from window air to central A/C) all got a profitable job out of it too.

As a start, partially close the upstairs vents to force more air downstairs.

Since posting, we had an inspection done.Property needs new roof and guttering (like yesterday)The air conditioner is drum roll... 31 yrs old.Water heater is 20 years.There are some old wires in the property that need attention.
