I can only imagine if I buy another property for a rental it's just going to punish my credit score again even more, so how do people do crazy stuff like buying 18 properties in 18 months with completely demolishing their credit scores?

I'd rather take a nap than analyze 100-200 deals. 3% COC returns are reflected in that and is my punishment. 

It does sound like they are punishing the good guys for something a bad guy did - reiterate your support of a good neighborhood and good tenants. 

Where is the right place to pursue a right answer. we want the roof company owner’s license can be punished at least.We talked to a lawyer and was told it is not deserve to sue for a roof.This is the only experience to work with state or county for a problem roof.

Basically, you get punished by the credit bureaus, if you make a payment on an old debt. 

To me, it punishes tenants who's hardly at home.
