I too have means and what I've discovered is that the truly wealthy are very different and early flaunt their wealth, nor do they get wrapped up in foolishness.

It would be hard to pick out the true old money/truly educated individual as they have enough social grace/etiquette to not flaunt nor talk about their wealth publicly. 

To my mind, there are few things more ridiculous, more pathetic than a Greek flaunting his money.

We've pointed people there when they are skiddish, overly concerned about being scammed.We don't flaunt that we are the owners, we only tell people if they directly ask.  

But, they'll flaunt it in front of their guests!

A website can provide lots of raw data, but only a knowledgeable salesperson can pick up on the nuances of the individual house, flaunt its pros and talk down its cons.

Wealth- don't flaunt it. 

The problem is that it's easier said than done, social influences weigh heavily and people are always trying to flaunt and out-do their neighbors and friends.I think work ethic and passion is by far the most important factor that differentiates the wealthy from the others. you don't really ahve to be that "smart" IMO.I think the recipe for success and wealth is this: If you are passionate and determined and thus work hard towards your goals, and are financially responsible (spending less than you earn) wealth can be achieved by almost anyone.the two opposite ends of the spectrum are the individual who labors at a meanial job just enough to pay his rent, cable bill, and a case of beer and box of cigarettes so he can sit around his house watching tv.

Secondly don't flaunt your wealth or success.

I also couldn't agree more about the clowns on TV who are either amateurs, or flaunt bad business practices and poor quality of work, to get the job done.
