I would not ever want to depend on home warranties, which are usually inadequate and has fine print everywhere - and often uses substandard contractors.

Here's a sample of fine print:“Borrower shall occupy, establish, and use the Property as Borrower’s principal residence within 60 days after the execution of this Security Instrument and shall continue to occupy the Property as Borrower’s principal residence for at least one year after the date of occupancy, unless Lender otherwise agrees in writing, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld, or unless extenuating circumstances exist which are beyond Borrower’s control.”Different lenders have different "fine print" statements that may be more grey and confusing.

For me, saving the stamp and effort of printing and putting said letter in the mail is well worth $2ish.I'm still trialing both options so i can't really give a clear winner one way or another, but either one is a great option in my opinion.Hope this helps!

You might print the Web page to a PDF, and either keep those PDFs in folders on your computer/phone for each property, with folders named like "101 S Main Long Beach", or "1217 W Oak Huntington" or similar, OR name the PDFs like "101-s-main-county-taxes.pdf", "1217-w-oak-old-mortgages.pdf", so you can find them again later.I hope this helps!
