If no one new is moving to the Corning area you will have to get your new tenants from other local landlords.

My wife and I recently moved to Corning, NY and are planning to start our REI journey here in the next few months.

The mixture of a modest simplified version of traditional design and a modern architectural style direction sticks out distinctly.This way, you can preserve the historical features of the building at the same time, making the building compatible and sometimes more valuable for new use.

It did not visually look that bad but it was a defective Corning roof product.

I'm in Tucson now with 14 units across 5 properties including a real mixture of property types - 4plex, 5plex, SFR, vacation rental condos. 

Remember the acronym FRSHCRN pronounced fresh corn.  

Though I have no experience in either of those markets if you are looking around Baltimore or DC where I have a lot more experience it would probably be similar to Wisconsin where there is a mixture of older and newer housing and a lot of the multi families are older with old infrastructure compared to FL where in general things are a lot newer.

And they make good points.Right now I have a mixture of both that are working well (nothing crazy; duplex and SFRs).

You need to know the ag business, to identify that highest and best use, can't put horses on just any area, can't grow corn or soy beans just anywhere (although they try growing corn everywhere in IL. )Dealing with a farmer, you gotta speak farming, a rancher speaks ranching, at least to a degree you need to understand the business.Books, ?
