Thanks Loc.The apartments I will have to look at Home Depot and Lowe's to see which is closer and if the deliver for free and install costs. Here in Georgia we have Dalton the carpet capital of the world but it is over an hour away going and back.So any savings on their pricing is negated by the gas and delivery costs and extra time taken for delivery on the rehab. So why would they want to sell a discounted gift card on Craig's List??

We don't start in the morning and go grab materials at home depot in the afternoon, we have materials delivered and we pay delivery fee, client eat that bill to give way to our convenience, two dozens of 40-70/trip could be avoided but we rather spend time making the 1-2 hour trip to the supply store and work on our clients project, we know 2 hours of manpower is much more expensive than $40-70.

~ $450 for a bobcat & operator to transfer the dirt from the delivery trucks and into the pool (we were going to just rent the bobcat but found a guy on Craigslist who owned one and was willing to also do the driving of it for about the same price as it would have cost to just rent the bobcat by itself)~ $100 to rent a tamping rammer to compact the dirt So, in total, about $2600.
