I cannot speak intelligently about Detroit, but I know Columbus Ohio has been great to me.

Steven, It is a little late for me to give an intelligent answer.  

I wanted to reach out and say hey.I read Rich Dad Poor Dad a couple months ago and have been learning a ton about investing and increasing my "financial intelligence".  

My junior year of college I read a book by Australian Billionaire Jamie McIntyre called "What I didn't learn at College but wish I had"This book pretty much told me about being financially intelligent, having multiple sources of income, being financially free, and having the mindset for success.

Though the focus is taxes it goes beyond that and goes into depth about the issues involved with CPAs and other real estate professionals in general, and how to deal with them most intelligently.
