I'm trying to decide if hiring a debt settlement attorney is the right move for me.

GC's are always looking for extra help so it shouldn't be hard to find one who will hire you.

AKA attorneys are hired to draw up/revise/review and sign contracts with their clients, in NYC and Long Island: Attorneys are also the ones that handle ordering title searches and etc. 

Instead of asking 99% of law-abiding citizens to fill out forms and hiring thousands of agents to receive, review, and monitor those forms, they should focus on the problem people.

There are security services you could hire- they are expensive.

I have built around $80,000 in equity due to appreciation and plan to hire a company to manage the property and start to cashflow instantly.

If you haven't hired an attorney I might consider doing so as this situation sounds like it could get ugly. 

I would only hire out for major work I can't do myself or emergency repairs.I've dealt with older houses before and the house may be fine for occupants but there's still usually lots of things that can be fixed / improved so it seems a house that isn't perfect would give more opportunities for ongoing maintenance of this sort.To me it seems fairly straightforward to meet the time requirements but I think I need to have extensive documentation?
