I’ve already considered investing in multi-family homes but their business model and content seemed almost too good to be true.And I believe I’d be well-positioned to do this on my own if I were in one of the markets the Flip System targets, but what really caught my attention was the leverage they offer — network of contractors, etc.

Had I gone to the city, I would have known that the house was built without a permit, and that to be able to renovate the house I would have to appear before the board of adjustment of the city.6) Most importantly, the current New Western business model does not afford new investors time to do their due diligence on a house.

Hi, I am actively looking and putting offers for my first rental property, I just saw a townhome that I like from the 70's that needs some rehab, and a few blocks from it there is new development offering same type of units (a bit bigger) 10% more expensive with delivery lead times of 6 months.

I am by no means proposing this, but just as Medicare premiums, Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) from retirement accounts, and contribution limits for IRA/401k accounts are adjusted for inflation, would it be fair to suggest that rent increases could follow a similar model to ensure that both landlords and tenants are treated equitably?

Leasing a Maytag laundry center from Wash.com would cost me $100/mo, but reviewers say they can take weeks to come out for repairs.A local place called Mission Laundry Equipment can lease me a Speed Queen laundry center for $110/mo, or sell it to me for $4,299 (actually $5,450 with all taxes and fees for delivery, installation, and setting up the credit card system).
