My first post, apologies if I missed a sticky somewhere in which much of this is answered.

We are doing the Dave Ramsey thing, you know beans and rice and rice and beans.  

I probably should have looked at the sticky topics in this forum - looking at the resources linked in there now...

This turns into a very useful thread for newbies while interesting the Pros by turning the thread into essentially a game of trivia.Just wondering if we could start one up and maybe sticky it to the top of the Beginner category.Sam Harris

There should be a sticky at the top of the forums that just says - read everything by the following posters:Bill GulleyJay HinrichsRick HarmonJ.

Focuses mainly on agency laws and if you're lucky, the ethics laws so you can cover your a$$ while investing & holding a license - it gets sticky while you're new.2) Your plan is absolutely realistic in the part-time sense.

A better source than myfico for results based study of Fico effects is creditboards especially the stickied Master topics. myfico forums are a bit restricted in discussing certain things as they are owned by Fico.
