If we did a pre existing building I would go after and old shopko, ace hardware, grocery store, walgreen building.

Hi,My friend is building an ADU in Los Angeles (Ventura County - the Westlake/Moorpark area specifically) and their contractor told them prior to starting they would have to get the ground inspected where the foundation is supposed to be.

You'd need 3/4" plywood, 1/4" hardie backer, liquid nail for applying the hardie to the plywood, tile adhesive (was actually cheaper at ACE), Finish nailer and nails, masonry bit and small screws (secure the hardie to plywood in addition to liquid nail), backsplash tile (floor and decor in Houston) and grout (unsanded).
