You may want to look into other options such as putting mobile homes on the land in better shape or figuring out how much the land is worth for resell purposes.

In most areas of the country, both vacant and improved land will have some kind of property taxes (minus religious organizations and few other exceptions).

Having a set schedule definitely helps, and organization is definitely another big thing.

But LLCs and banking accounts is mostly your personal preference of how you would like to organize your business structure.
