Not fun.Condo , although appreciation is limited , but giving me a chance as average joe to have my dream place and everything is well managed by HOA.I see HOA as huge advantage rather than disadvantage esp. for remote property.

Unfortunately for us the HOA has restricted any new rentals until July 1st and possibly longer even though the governor of Florida set a date of STR restrictions until only May 4th.There are some advantages but the disadvantages tend to out weigh them!

Read that again newbies......you will always operate at a disadvantage if you do not do it all yourself at least for a year or so.

That's a shame as they truly are more flexible in many ways, but not without their disadvantages as well.
