@Tchaka Owen - so I’ve had mixed experiences with both Lending One & SIL, If the need came up again, i’d probably look for a new option... in addition to Lending one.Experience 1: Lending one, was preapproved for a loan on a new purchase & got all the way to scheduling the appraisal when a mysterious cap was put in place requiring a 60k per unit valuation (was never disclosed prior or even mentioned as a risk), they pulled out.

some people mix them together (which only makes me remember less  lol)And like i said, it may sound nice to bring deductions to your 1040, but in the larger scheme it may not be a good idea or a sign of something else is wrong.Definitely consult a qualified professional about your situation.

If you mix funds, then any lawyer for a plaintiff -- say someone who has an accident on your property -- can "pierce the veil" of the LLC and show that all your assets, not just that one property, should be up for grabs.Cheers.
