I desperately want to begin buying properties. 

I am awkward introverted engineer so no special social skills here.You know the saying where a girl can sense a "desperate guy" a mile away?

But, please, understand that we are intelligent, hard working people, that desperate to get out of poverty.  

He's not desperate but I don't think that automatically precludes this from being a good deal for someone.The 6 properties are currently rented for a total of $5285/mo.

The property has been listed for over 200 days, am I right in thinking that with the trust owning the property combined with the long time on the market, that the sellers may be a bit desperate?

The only situation I see working is if you have a seller that is desperate to sell and is willing to let the property go really cheap.
