It can be trained to provide an initial analysis but I agree, nothing replaces expertise and sound underwriting.

I am a long-term investor, but I also provide services to long-term investors, so my advice is biased toward that option.  

There are areas outside the Tahoe basin with a short drive that can provide for solid short term or long term income streams and still pull in the Tahoe goers.

A lot of the beach rentals down there are pretty outdated and don't provide many amenities.
