I know Highland Park and around Portage Lake is really good, and Goodyear Park is alright, but there are some really bad neighborhoods in the Akron area.

the central park has a lake that me and my family loves to go and feed the birds. lol @Josh Domingo Now the reason why the prices of the properties on Walpole doesn't make since is because Walpole is a  bad area the Mayor is in the process of making allot of tenants move because of the crime and as you know if you cant control your tenants nor property the city has rights to seize it.

Our lake house for example, AirDNA had us 4x over what the rate should have been.

I would look at Miramar, Hollywood, Dania Beach, Lake Worth, West Palm Beach. 

Ocean lakes in Myrtle is probably your best bet. 350k may get you a 3/2 which will gross around 45k per year. 2-3 years ago you could pick up a 4/4 or 5/3 for that price so you may be priced out but there are a ton of condos for that price of 350k although I wouldn't buy a condo there we have two 4/4's but we stole them before pricing went crazy here in ocean lakes.if your diligent you can still find a deal but is much harder now
