Hi everyone - I am in the process of looking at a mixed use property (one commercial storefront and 8 residential units) on one lot and was wondering what the major pitfalls were in taking on a project like this.

Saves alot or worn out fans if it runs ONLY when it needs to.I am guessing ALL these vent to the outside, away from soffit inlets for intake roof ridge vent systems which are the ONLY way you want to vent an attic.

The way to do deal with the condensation on the underside of the metal roof, is to install it on a batten/counter batten system and provide an air intake at the eave and air exhaust at the ridge.Galvalume is great type of metal roof for sure, just be careful about the condensation issue.

When you replace a water heater the drain pipe, the flue and the fresh air intake might have to be modified for the new tank.
