4 months ago I was on vacation in Costa Rica (using 6 of my total 15 days off a year) for a desperate breath oxygen and relief from my desk job, when I met a family on the beach.

A house belonging to one of my parents who passed away several years ago is in desperate need of rehab.  

You can tell how desperate I'm for them to move out I'm willing to sacrifice 4 months rent to achieve this.Any previous experiences in this regard would be really helpful and any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I have a feeling I'll have a desperate seller contacting me soon by the way he sounded

Cant tell if they are desperate or just wanting to make things difficult.

In fact, a new lead was referred to me 2 weeks ago because she'd finished and sold her first rehab 10 weeks prior and had been desperately seeking a house to rehab since then.  

Others, more desperate for "fill" might feel differently. 

NLR is desperate for housing and would pay pretty well with some assurances that would be good for an investor. 

Ok everyone, I'm taking the plunge into rehabbing this awesome little house in desperate need of some TLC. 

Our first property was a family home, we paid 90%MV, it desperately needed up dating, after a $20K  - plus my sweat - reno on the inside it looks brand new, outside is still the same, but there's no work needed.
