Some area of interest are San Tan Valley, Central Phoenix, Goodyear, Surprise and Queen Creek.

I knew the tenants that were going to move in before I purchased the property and I made a deal with them that if they painted it and put new flooring in it that I would give them a discount on their rent for 2 years.Gone are the days where you can buy a 5 bed, 3 bath house that backs the golf course for 93k in San Tan Valley, Arizona.

@Julia Deck-Russell In addition to the good advice given by @Tan Mehedi, be prepared for a very long, drawn out process and for subordinate lien holders to pop their heads up at the last minute looking for more cash.The last one I did for a client was within 5 weeks of closing. 

But we are buying more in the outskirt markets such as Apache Junction, Florence, Coolidge, San Tan Valley, and Casa Grande.

I've never been unemployed before and now my mind is wandering... me and my fiancé are now entertaining the idea of moving to Arizona around Phoenix/San tan valley area (currently in Portland/Vancouver area) and I don't want to go back to the kind of work I was doing.
