I do believe that the Bay Area is at or near a short term peak as well, and that prices will flatten out or decline slightly before resuming their upward trajectory.Another theory of mine regarding Oakland is that the future developments being touted as drivers of appreciation (e.g., Brooklyn Basin, Uber) are already priced in.
