It's not rehab, it's a well maintained property with a new 3 garage from 2015, manufactured home on slab, not requiring any repairs it's fully move in ready, owner occupied. 11 acres, nice rural area. 3 bed 2 bath taxes around $2k/yr.

I will give a bit more information and maybe I can get a clearer direction:Strategies I am debating are the following: Buy small lot and have a local contractor build a 3ba/2ba basic/value house so I can resell.Buy a manufactured home, place it on a lot, then re-list it.Rentals, but it is difficult to find any house less than 120k in my area that isn't slums.

With most of the real estate around me not having good cash flow numbers, I stated looking at some trailer/manufactured home parks.One near me in south Ypsilanti (south of I-94) has some going from between $10k-$40k a $10k example is 900 sq ft 2 bedroom that rents for $760/mo.

@Jessica WoodIf it's a standard ten-buck doorknob made by Defiant or Kwikset or Schlage or pretty much any other major American manufacturer, there's a very simple solution if you ever really do need entry, if there ever really IS an emergency.

Although I can't directly tell you what you should do, or shouldn't do, I can definitely tell you what I did: Before real estate I was working in manufacturing and I didn't like it at all.
