@Summer Dechanukul If your agent really represented that the home was in good working condition and actually told you that you didn’t need an inspection to verify, you should report him to his broker and file a complaint with the state real estate board, maybe talk to an attorney about a civil suit for damages against the agent and broker if they misled you.

Suncadia is a resort property with two hotels, 400 vacation homes, four swimming pools, four restaurants, and two golf courses.

I was envisioning some dude with expensive bespoke suits, gold watches and driving around in a Rolls Royce but he was super chill and down to earth. 

I don't know yet if all counties are following suit. 

I prefer to swim in less crowded ponds and Fulton or Dekalb sound packed.

(I know there are a TON for STRs, though I found only a few in the Raleigh area and I had to dig for them, which makes me think that marketing is not their strong suit.

Make sure your agent works with investors and knows how to swim in that pond.

I'd say in a situation like this you'd be well suited to do passive investment into real estate as a limited partner where if you do well financially as a physician you could look to fund investment projects but not necessarily manage them. 

Since it falls under residential, I've called Allstate but I know there could be other alternatives who may be better suited to this type of product.
